Simple Fall Leaf Glass Display

How to make a simple Fall leaf glass display for your favourite foliage this season!

Slowly, some simple Fall decor is making it’s way into our home. Since I got my new Ektorp sofa covers in a soft grey, I just feel like adding soft tones of brown, some darker grey tones and soft oranges to the rest of the room. And these dried ivy leaves really make a statement in their simple glass display I think. They just add an instant Fall vibe to it all.

What you need:

dried & pressed leaves from the garden or here

[to press your leaves, just put them inside a thick book, each on a different page. Close book and place other books or something heavy on top for weight. After a few days your leaves will be pressed.]

two small-medium sized picture frames [I got mine at the Euro store for 1 Euro each]

bulldog clips

Instructions:

1. Carefully remove the glass from your frames. Place one infront of you.

2. Arrange your foliage on it, then press the second glass on top.

3. Clip on the hinge clips, I used two for the bottom and two for the top.

Caution:

The glass might be sharp and can cut right into your hand, be careful while assembling this glass display. I placed it up high on my cabinet top so no small hands could reach for it.

I ended up using the dry brown ivy leaves, not the green ones shown in the first photo.
