Cozy Nordic Holiday Kitchen Nook

Today I want to show you my cozy Nordic Holiday kitchen nook in black & red! A few weeks ago, I spray painted our yellow & bright blue kitchen chairs black. And I love it! Maybe you’ve noticed, that I am really into black accents lately. I just love, how it gives my usual white and neutral home a Scandi Nordic vibe. So, this season, my chairs are black, and I really enjoyed decorating my kitchen nook for Christmas.

Before, when they were yellow and blue, there weren’t that many options regarding Holiday decor. I really love how the red Holiday touches now go with the black accents. Well, just have a look yourself and let me know what you think!

All I really need this year are pops of red, black and greenery for my Christmas decor. I am loving it and how a green garland and some faux red berries can add instant Christmas vibes.

I sewed these pillow cases last year with this cute fabric from Ikea. So easy and so cheap too! I think I probably paid around 8 Euros for both pillow. Not bad…

I’m loving the big bulb light strings and I found this string for 3€ and bought three more! The table cloth is actually a tea towel from H&M along with the little deer plates. And these sweets are actually typical spanish Chrismtas treats and we love them!!

You can read more about this candle centerpiece here. I changed out the greenery and added some faux red berries to it.

Katrin I love your black chairs. They really stand out nicely against all the white and create a cozy look. And the red looks lovely.

Ahhhh I remember that coffee and cake sign you made and I’m loving your kitchen nook. I never though that a minimalistic design could look so warm and cozy too.

Thanks so much Michelle, yes, I would have never thought of painting anything black a year ago, now I love how cozy it actually makes it all.
