What you need:
medium sized round bushel basket or similar [it should be a stable basket with a firm bottom]
short wooden furniture legs
I found my basket in our local Flying-Tiger Store for 6 € and knew right away, it would be great as a plant stand because of it’s shape. Other baskets and shapes might work too, that depends on what style you want. I liked it’s round belly shape and that it had a handle too. It also has a very stable bottom, perfect for the furniture legs to go into.
Since the furniture legs were a lighter tone than the basket, I decided to spray paint them black. It gives a nice contrast.
While waiting for the legs to dry, I eye-balled where the legs would go to drill the 4 holes.
I drilled the holes smaller than the screw of the legs, because they don’t have much to go into since the bottom of the basket is very thin. Like this they are a tight fit and won’t move around.
And that is about it! I grabbed my favorite plant and this is how it looks!
Pin it for later!!
I really love how this little plant stand turned out! Wishing you a great rest of the week,
