Simple Kitchen Nook & A Touch Of Valentines

Hi there & Happy Monday! Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Valentines Day and don’t real y decorate. But I found these cute mini heart tea lights the other day and thought they’d be nice for the kitchen table where my girls have their breakfast each morning. To have a little Valentines lights on in the morning, I think will make them smile. And sometimes it’s just the little things like these mini tea lights that brighten up the mood and make me happy. And my girls love them too!

I made the simple rock heart planter real quick a few weeks ago. You can read more about it here.

I added this pale pink velvet cushion, that I bought last year and it fits in so nicely. Along with the pink lights and heart planter they make for a cute & simple Valentine’s decor. Just the right amount for my taste.

Underneath the centerpiece I put a tea towel I found at Walmart when we were visiting family in Canada over the Holidays. I actually want to frame the tea towl and hang it on the kitchen wall. But for now I like it as a little table cloth too.

Katrin those tea lights are adorable. They are the perfect addition to your nook. I generally don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day. All I did was add some neutral hearts.

Aaaaaw Katrin, those tea lights are gorgeous. I love that color, it reflects the little light in such a lovely way. We don’t really decorate for Valentine’s Day either. I used to when the kids were still here, just so they could start the day with lots of love.
