New Above Sofa Gallery Wall

I haven’t shared my new above sofa gallery wall yet! This summer, while having a lot of time off & browsing Pinterest, I got major inspiration to change up our basket wall above the sofa. I loved it, but change is good & necessary after a while. Plus it’s inexpensive and it’s a quick change with huge impact! You can see how it looked like before HERE.

So, first, I pinned some photos of gallery walls I love and then gathered frames. I went shopping in town, got the frames I didn’t already own [the three smaller wooden colored ones ] in our local shops for cheap. Nothing fancy, but I like how they look.

The two big frames were actually in the office before, but different prints inside.

The frame with the ocean print in it was on my mantel before, read more about the frame HERE. You can find the beautiful watercolour print over at We Lived Happily Ever After!

And the small white frame was once a clearance section find at Home Sense in Canada. It’s just the frame, I decided to leave that one without any prints.

I made sure to have a landscape print, a simple hand-lettered print, nature prints and an abstract art print. I wanted a good mix of different pieces of art, but within the same colour scheme.

So this is my new gallery wall and I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s fun to change out the prints each season and how it makes the room look really cozy too. I haven’t decorated much for Fall in the living room, except for the prints and some pillows. The pumpkins will probably come out towards the end of the month if I can wait that long!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you got inspired!!

Such an interesting combination of frames, art, and prints. Love the way you’ve added an empty frame to the mix. If I had to try something like that my hubby would be asking me where the picture went 😀 Aaaai how I wish I had your sense of style. It’s so effortless. I’m curious, what does the lettering say? I couldn’t make it out.

Thanks Michelle! The lettering says calm… just what I like for this space, haha.
