Hi everyone! I’m happy you’re here today to check out my cozy outdoor space reveal & outdoor decor essentials ! I hope you are doing well. I am still teaching from home and must say, I’m enjoying all that extra time for all things home decor. Can’t complain. Although we’re still in lock down, lot’s of restrictions have been lifted and sometimes it almost feels like everything’s back to normal already. I have made shopping trips to our local nursery and got our outdoor space ready and cozy for summer. I feel like we’ll be spending a whole lot of time there this summer!

 

Cozy Outdoor Space Reveal & Outdoor Decor Essentials

Honestly, not  a lot has changed compared to last year’s outdoor decor. This set up is what we find the most comfortable and practical way for our terrace space, so there’s not much room to move furniture around.

Outdoor Essential : Rugs & Pillows

We do need new sofa pads, they are pretty worn, but for this year they’ll do. I did get THIS rug at Ikea the other day and just love it! It isn’t an outdoor rug, but you can easily throw it in the washer and it’s great for out here!

 

The rug is on the smaller side, but does pull the lounge area together nicely and adds a lot of cozy to it along with the pillows.

 

 

Outdoor Essential : Plants 

While I still had almost all of the plants from last year, I did add some larger ones, these umbrella trees, to each one of the pillars on the patio. They make such a difference! It feels cozy and tropical at the same time.

Outdoor Essential : Lights & Candles

Instead of buying new candles this year, I just used THESE led candles I already had. They work great outside, but can’t get wet. For me, in the summer, I like candles outside better than inside, so there was no need of buying more but using the ones I already owned. I’ll use them inside again when summer is over! What’s not to love!

I simply put them in jars & planters.

 

So, with just a few items, like pillow covers, rugs, plants & some candle lights, I set up our outdoor space that we are enjoying even more this year than ever!
